Students selected for the All-Eastern Mixed Choir must have previously been selected to participate in their state’s All-State Choir, said the VVS district. Overall, 600 students participated from schools across the east coast.
The honors festival event, from April 5-7, was sponsored by the National Association for Music Education. The choir includes 320 students from states in the northeast. Niles rehearsed and performed with conductor Rollo Dilworth of Temple University for the All-Eastern Mixed Choir.
